I’m surprised my resolution of posting once a (calendar) week lasted as long as it has done. I just missed it by one day. As I mentioned before, I’ve been baking an AWFUL lot lately. It’s fun to do and it’s tasty. What follows is my first cookie recipe. It’s based off of two peanut butter cookies recipes I’ve found but I’ve adjusted the amounts of egg and sugar to something that’s not too sweet and sticky. It’s also VERY easy, cheap, and scalable.

This evening I found myself under calories for the day and decidedly not hungry. Super duper not hungry. Wish I snacked more during the day so I wouldn’t be forced to shove something down my throat now not hungry.

The other day I was was starting to feel sick and went to local big box pharmacy to get stuff for chest congestion. It turns out that the store brand tussin DM and mucinex has the same active ingredients (though the store brand mucinex was twice as strong). Hey.. this is still the second calendar week even if it’s almost 2 weeks after my last post.

I think I may be a fresh and local food convert. I had a very delicious sandwich for lunch that was just insane and all local and fresh and hormone free and shit that I really didn’t think mattered until I had a party in my mouth.
